Affordable wedding photography at Lewisham Register Office 368 Lewisham High Street, London, SE13 6LQ
In 1961 Lewisham Registry office was Londons 1st purpose-built registrars office. It is single storey brick built building that has no steps. For the purposes of the amount of weddings back then it is compact in comparison to other registry offices.
Parking available on a first come first served basis at the front of the building, enough for 10 vehicles. As you walk through the main Lewisham Registry office door you walk straight towards the glass panelled office, the staff are extremely friendly and once inside the room are styled beautifully, there are two main function rooms to the right the Drake room and to the left the Evelyn Suite.
The Drake Room is a small well appointed marriage room from that can hold up to 22 guests decorated in Burgundy with dark oak leather chairs.
If required there is the registration room that can only embrace four people. Hearing loops are available for interviews and marriages
Two credible witnesses must be present to join the couple in signing the civil partnership schedule. Southwark is very open towards photography. Our photographer can photograph the whole ceremony plus set up poses of the couple, witnesses and group photography in the room.
As you face the building on the left is a small patio courtyard big enough for the size of the ceremony rooms. Lined with hedges and bushes and pergola arch, confetti can be thrown within the courtyard.
London civil marriages and partnership ceremonies also take place in local approved premises, usually hotels or public buildings where the superintendent registrar has designated that the wedding service can happen. Registry Office Wedding Photographers have knowledge of the various approved reception places.
