Affordable London wedding photography at Bromley register office frequently referred to as the Bromley registry office is a British term the government office and depository where births, deaths and marriages are officially recorded and of course one can get officially married, without a religious ceremony.
The registry office is located in the heart of Bromley at Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, BR1 3UH. There are five varying marriage rooms namely The Bluebell Room, The Council Chamber, The Garden Room, The Old Palace and the Rose Room. The Old Palace was built in 1775 for the Bishop of Rochester. The original Georgian building has had several additions including a colonnaded veranda running the length of the south side of the building. The immaculate grounds include a large lawn area with mature trees, shrubs to the rear of the Palace, plus a lake and wildlife.
From the front gravelled courtyard you step into the entrance hallway, which contains a striking wood paneled staircase and is decorated with carvings over the entrance. There is a suite of rooms, including the main function Room, which seats 40 guests, and the Chairman’s Room (available Monday- Thursday only) for smaller marriage ceremonies. After the ceremony parties can go into the grounds via the french windows onto the colonnade featuring seasonal hanging baskets.
Photographs can be taken in the graveled courtyard, on the staircase in the entrance hallway of the Palace, as well as in the two ceremony rooms and the grounds.
The Old Palace can be used for drinks receptions following the ceremonies.
The Rose Room has recently been refurbished provides as eye-catching venue for your wedding ceremony. The fully air-conditioned marriage room seats up to 45 guests in comfort decorated in cream and gold with white furnishings.
Bromley Civic Centre has a multi-storey car park of 491 slots and 19 disabled bays that has an above road transparent tube pedestrian link bridge to the Glades Shopping Center handy for last-minute purchases. A twenty-minute walk is required to the nearest rail connection at Bromley South.
